The battery in a Chrysler 300 is located on the right side of the trunk, behind the right side trunk cover. The battery is held in place by a strap that can be loosened with a tab.
If the trunk is locked and the battery is dead, you can manually open the trunk by using the manual key function to unlock the back door. Then, pull the tab to unlock the lock that holds the back seats in place, and crawl back in to open the trunk.
